Asian Regional Audit

Asian Regional AuditIn order to convince Asian policymakers urgent action is required on osteoporosis, it's necessary to reveal the immense physical and financial burden on the population.

The landmark Asian Regional Audit, launched in Beijing, China, for the first time provided detailed information on osteoporosis epidemiology, burden and costs in individual countries, as well as collectively across Asia.

The report is a valuable tool in advocating for improved osteoporotic fracture prevention and management across Asia.

National Guidelines

Read the list of osteoporosis guidelines for the Asian region. Note, the International Osteoporosis Foundation does not endorse country guidelines. This is because osteoporosis prevalence and aspects of the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporotic fractures are country-specific. There may be multiple guidelines from any one country.
